Hi! I'm Emily (Sights) Fife, a professional harpist whose lifelong devotion to music began in Henderson, Kentucky, where I first discovered the harp at the age of eight. What began as a childhood fascination soon became a calling, shaping a career defined by artistry, refinement, and a deep love for sharing music's beauty.
With over 30 years of experience, I bring a graceful and polished presence to every performance. I hold a degree in Music Management from the University of Evansville, along with a Master's degree in Public Service Administration, credentials that reflect both my musical expertise and professional excellence.
Specializing in weddings and special events, I am honored to provide an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication for life's most meaningful moments. I perform on an ebony Lyon & Healy Concert Grand Pedal Harp as well as a Lyon & Healy Prelude Lever Harp, instruments renowned for their exquisite sound and timeless beauty.
Based in Bloomington, Indiana, I proudly serve clients within a three-hour radius throughout southern Indiana and central and western Kentucky. It would be my pleasure to help create a memorable and enchanting musical experience for your wedding or special event.

I am honored to provide harp music for weddings and a wide range of special occasions, including engagement celebrations, cocktail hours, afternoon teas, church services, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, open houses, and holiday events. I also offer music for private celebrations as well as funeral and visitation services, bringing comfort, beauty, and reverence to meaningful moments.

Harp Lessons
In addition to performance, I offer private harp instruction for students of most ages and skill levels on both pedal and lever harps. Lessons are available in the comfort of your home, in my home studio, or remotely via FaceTime, allowing for flexible and personalized instruction tailored to each student's goals.
Beginning Piano Lessons
I am also pleased to offer beginning piano lessons out of my home studio in Bloomington, IN.

Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Harp Lessons
& Beginning Piano Lessons:
Begin at $1 per minute
(*travel fees added if the lesson is not taken at my home studio)
Travel:
*A travel fee of $75 per hour is added for performances outside of Bloomington, IN.
(I reserve the right to charge extra for outdoor events due to the intense heat damage to the strings and instrument.)
